Sample Minds - a tribute to Simple Minds

At the request and with the encouragement of many Simple Minds fans worldwide, sample MINDS formed in 1998.

An ecstatic reception at the 1999 Simple Minds convention in London, firmly established sample MINDS as the premier tribute act to Simple Minds.

With a truly international following, sample MINDS have performed extensively throughout Europe headlining festival dates, and once again delivered a stunning show at the 2003 Simple Minds fan convention held in Glasgow.

In 2006 the band played a huge televised concert at the World Cup quarter final clash between Germany and Argentina.

2007 marked a landmark performance at Rotherham Football Stadium when the band were joined on stage by none other than Simple Minds legendary founder member and bassist – Derek Forbes.
